Fault codes, also called error codes or fault codes, allow your device to automatically report an internal malfunction. Below you will find the list of fault codes for your Ariston oven-stove and their meaning: this will give you an indication to best diagnose the origin of the malfunction of your appliance.

The error code can be read directly on the front panel of your Ariston oven. Depending on the model, you can read this code on a display (for example, “Err 01”) or by observing the number of LED flashes (for example: 4 LED flashes = “Err 04”).

Refer to the user manual for your  Ariston oven cooker to find out the exact meaning of the fault code displayed or the lights that flash. The number of flashes often corresponds to the error code number, but there are specificities linked to each model and brand.

ERROR CODE F03 AND F04 – TEMPERATURE PROBE AND/OR ELECTRONIC CARD

This fault code indicates a fault in the temperature probe and/or the electronic card. Check if the cooling fan is operational and/or if the power board is functioning properly. If not, replace them.

In case the cooling fan and the electronic board are in good condition, you will need to replace the display.

ERROR CODE F05, F06 AND F07 – OVERHEATING

These error codes indicate that your oven is overheating. Check the condition of the cooling ventilation. Also check the temperature sensor of your device. If it is defective, measure the CTN type probe. Replace the oven power board.

If the fault does not come from these elements, you will need to replace the display of your device.

ERROR CODE F08 AND W03 – DOOR LOCK

This error code concerns a locking problem when you activate the pyrolysis. Check the condition of the locking system and the closing of the device.

ERROR CODE F09 AND W04 – DOOR UNLOCKING

To repair the problem with your device’s electronic memory, change the display board.

ERROR CODE E01 OR E02 – TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH

These error codes correspond to a temperature in your oven that is too high during pyrolysis or while cooking your dishes. Check the temperature probe of your device (CTP type, 545 ohms at 20°C).

If the fault does not come from the probe, change the electronic card of your oven.

ERROR CODE E03 – LOCK

If your oven door does not lock when you activate the pyrolysis, check the condition of the locking system as well as the closure of the appliance.

ERROR CODE E04 – UNLOCKING

If your oven door does not unlock when you activate the pyrolysis, check the condition of the locking system as well as the closure of the appliance.

ERROR CODE E05 – TEMPERATURE PROBE

This fault code corresponds to a fault in the temperature probe. Check the temperature sensor of your device. To do this, measure its value (CTP type, 545 ohms at 20°C).

ERROR CODE E06 AND E07 – OVERHEATING

Refer to error code F05

ERROR CODE E08 AND E09 – SWITCH

These error codes indicate a fault in your device’s switch. To repair it, check the connections and clean the selector.

ERROR CODE E10 – TEMPERATURE

If your oven has an anomaly regarding its temperature rise, check the resistance of the device, its temperature probe (CTP type, 545 ohms at 20°C) as well as its supply voltage, namely 230V.

ERROR CODE E17 – TEMPERATURE

If your oven has an anomaly regarding its temperature rise, check the resistance of the device, its temperature probe as well as its supply voltage.

ERROR CODE E20 – OVERHEATING

Refer to fault code F05

ERROR CODE E21, E22, E30, E31 AND E33 – TEMPERATURE PROBE

A detached part of the oven is the cause of this breakdown. If the temperature sensor is in poor condition, change it. If the problem persists, replace the power board.

ERROR CODE E32 – DISPLAY

This is the second time I've used the service of this company. Last autumn I had issues with the dishwasher – it leaked and damaged the floor. This time our fridge stopped cooling properly. Both times the service was great, reasonably priced and efficient. Dishwasher works just fine now, no doubts that the fridge will run fine too.

Called Shymon to install an over the range microwave for my grandparents. Shymon called me back in a timely manner, gave me a reasonable quote, and booked an appointment on the spot. I received a text confirmation of the appointment and a call on the day of the appointment notifying me of when he will be arriving. Service was completed as promised. All around great experience! I would definitely recommend this business!
