There are specific codes that reveal the type of fault affecting your dryer. These codes are called trouble codes, fault codes or more commonly error codes. They appear automatically in the event of a malfunction and are essential for identifying the fault of your Bauknecht dryer . To this end, the list below brings together all the error codes you will need to precisely detect your problem .
The fault code is displayed on the control panel of your Bauknecht dryer as soon as the fault occurs. For example, for a fault code number 3, it will be “Err 03”. However, depending on the model you have, the fault code may appear as a defined number of flashes. Thus, for an “Err 02” code, you will notice 2 flashes on the front panel LEDs.
In order to properly determine the error and resolve the associated fault, consult the instructions for your Bauknecht device. This will allow you to accurately identify faults and corresponding fault codes.
FAULT CODE F01 – HEATING
This fault code indicates that there is a problem with the heating.
FAULT CODE F02 – ELECTRONIC MEMORY
This fault code indicates that your dryer has an electronic memory problem.
- To repair your device, try reprogramming it using the brand’s specific tool (E-sam).
- If the problem persists, check the condition of the electronic card.
- In case you find that it is defective, you must change it.
F03 TROUBLE CODE – HUMIDITY OR POWER BOARD
This trouble code indicates that there is a problem with the humidity sensor or power board.
FAULT CODE F04 – HEATING RELAY
The F4 fault code indicates a failure of the heating relay on the electronic board or a compressor relay fault for a heat pump dryer.
FAULT CODE F05 – TEMPERATURE SENSOR
This code indicates that your dryer is experiencing an anomaly with the temperature sensor. Check the value of the probe which is of the CTN type (11.5 kilo-ohms at 25°C, 3.3 kilo-ohms at 60°C).
FAULT CODE F06 – TEMPERATURE SENSOR
This code indicates that your dryer is experiencing an anomaly with the temperature sensor. Examine the value of the probe which is of the CTN type (11.5 kilo-ohms at 25°C, 3.3 kilo-ohms at 60°C).
FAULT CODE F07 – DRUM ROTATION
This error code indicates that there is a drum rotation fault.
FAULT CODE E7 – DRUM ROTATION
This code indicates that there is a drum rotation fault.
FAULT CODE F10 – COMMUNICATION FAULT
This fault code indicates that there is a communication fault between the CCU electronic card and the MCU electronic card.
FAULT CODE F11 OR F19 – BPM OR MCU MOTOR FAULT
This fault code indicates that there is an MCU fault or a BPM motor fault (only with a BPM motor).
TROUBLE CODE F12 – MCU INITIALIZATION
This fault code indicates that there is a problem because the MCU is not initialized. You can turn the device off and on again.
FAULT CODE F14 – UNDERVOLTAGE
This fault code indicates that there is a problem because there is a detection of undervoltage. Check your MCU.
FAULT CODE FE OR F14 – HEATING
This code indicates that your dryer is not sensing heat. Check several important spare parts:
- resistance,
- the wiring,
- the thermostat,
- the control relay on the electronic card,
- ventilation of the hot air circuit.
TROUBLE CODE F15 – MCU FAULT
This fault code indicates that there is a fault on the MCU.
FAULT CODE F15/FF – HUMIDITY DETECTION SYSTEM
This error code indicates that your machine has a humidity detection problem. To repair your device, check the metal sensor (front, in front of the filter) as well as its connections. If the problem persists, check the temperature sensor.
FAULT CODE F18 – MCU TEMPERATURE
This fault code indicates that there is a problem because there is too high a temperature on the MCU.
FAULT CODE F20 – ENGINE OVERHEATING
This fault code indicates that there is a problem with the engine overheating.
FAULT CODE F21 – COMMUNICATION ERROR
This fault code indicates that there is a communication problem between the MCU and the interface.
FAULT CODE F22 – CUM OVERCURRENT
This fault code indicates that there is a CUM overcurrent.
FAULT CODE F23 – COMPRESSOR
This fault code indicates that there is a compressor fault.
FAULT CODE F24 – COMPRESSOR FAN
This fault code indicates that there is a compressor fan fault.
