Each household appliance has fault codes specific to its brand and model. This is a message on your Bauknecht washing machine that tells you that there is a problem or a part malfunction. They are also known as error codes or fault codes. The list below shows the different meanings of the error codes present on your Bauknecht washing machine.
This signal is visible on the screen of your device. You can distinguish them either by reading the message displayed (i.e. if you see “Err 01”, it is the first error), or, if there is no display, counting the blinking of the lightsprogram sequence or spin speeds (eg: with four flashes, this is error number 4).
Typically, the number of flashes refers to the numbering of the error code. However, specificities may be noted depending on the model or brand. Do not hesitate to refer to the instructions supplied with your Bauknecht washing machine to find out the details of the fault in question.
ERROR CODE F01 OR FH – WATER ENTRY
This fault code indicates that there is no water entering this washing machine. To repair this anomaly, please check several washing machine spare parts such as the tap, the solenoid valve and its filter, the flow meter, the pressure switch and the compression chamber.
ERROR CODE F02 OR FA – AQUASTOP
This code indicates a problem with the aqua stop. To rectify this anomaly, remember to check the activation of the aqua stop (i.e. anti-leak safety) on the water inlet pipe. If the problem persists, refer to fault code F01.
ERROR CODE F03 OR FP – DRAIN
This code indicates a drain problem. Check the pump filter, the drain pump, the tank/pump hose, the drain pipe, the pressure switch and the compression chamber.
ERROR CODE F04 – HEATING TIME
This code indicates that your washing machine’s heating time is too long. Refer to error codes F05 and F08.
ERROR CODE F05 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
This fault code indicates that your washing machine has a problem with the temperature sensor. To repair this anomaly, check the value of the temperature probe, i.e. 10 kilo-ohms at 30°C, 5 kilo-ohms at 50°C, as well as its connectors.
ERROR CODE F06 – DRUM ROTATION
If your washing machine has an anomaly regarding drum rotation, you must check the connections, the motor carbons and its tachometer.
ERROR CODE F07 – DRUM ROTATION
This fault code indicates that your washing machine detects the motor rotating without a given command. To rectify this anomaly, please check the triac on the electronic module. If defective, replace the module.
ERROR CODE F08 – RESISTANCE
This code indicates that your resistor is defective. Check its value. It should be around 25 ohms.
ERROR CODE F09 – WATER LEVEL
This code indicates that the water level is too high, or that there is a risk of overflowing. To repair your washing machine, check the compression chamber, the pressure switch and the solenoid valve.
ERROR CODE F11 – DATA COMMUNICATION
This fault code indicates that your washing machine is experiencing poor communication of data on the electronic card. To repair your device, check the card’s connections. If the problem persists, consider replacing the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F12 – RESISTANCE
This code indicates that your resistor is defective. Check its value. It should be around 25 ohms.
ERROR CODE F13 (1) – WATER DISPENSER IN PRODUCT BOX
This fault code indicates a problem with the water dispenser in the product box. Please check the drive micromotor, its positioning contact, its connections. Finally, check that there is no possible mechanical blockage.
ERROR CODE F13 (2) – LOCK
This fault code indicates that there is a problem with the door lock of your washing machine. To repair your washing machine, check the lock, the wiring, the connectors and the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F14 – MEMORY
This fault code is a problem relating to the memory of your washing machine. We suggest you reprogram the memory; this requires specific equipment. Otherwise, replace the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F15 – DRUM POSITIONING DETECTOR
This trouble code indicates that there is a problem with the drum position sensor. To rectify this anomaly, check that the magnet is present on the pulley and check the state of the contact on the tank, i.e. the magnetic switch.
ERROR CODE F16 – ELECTRONICS
This code indicates that your washing machine has an electronic problem. Check the connections as well as the condition of the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F19 – POWER SUPPLY
This trouble code indicates that your washing machine has a power problem. The mains voltage of your washing machine seems either too low or too high. It must be at 230 volts.
ERROR CODE F20 – ELECTRONICS
This code indicates that your washing machine has an electronic problem. Check the connections as well as the condition of the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F21 – ELECTRONICS
This code indicates that your washing machine has an electronic problem. Check the connections as well as the condition of the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F23
This code indicates a fault in your front-loading washing machine. Check the pressure switch, the resistance and the compression chamber.
ERROR CODE F24 – WATER LEVEL
This code indicates that your front-mounted washing machine detects a water level that is too high. Check the pressure switch and the compression chamber
