Fault codes, also called error codes or fault codes, allow your device toΒ automatically report an internal malfunction.Β Below you will find the list of fault codes for your Beko dryer and their meaning: this will give you an indication toΒ best diagnose the origin of the malfunction of your appliance.
The error code can be read directlyΒ on the front panelΒ of your Beko dryer.Β Depending on the model, you can read this code on a display (for example, “Err 01”) or by observing the number of LED flashes (for example: 4 LED flashes = “Err 04”).
Refer to the instructions for your Beko dryerΒ Β to find out the exact meaning of the fault code displayed or the lights that flash.Β The number of flashes often corresponds to the error code number, but there are specificities linked to each model and brand.
ERROR CODE ER01 – DOOR OPEN
This error code indicates that the appliance door is open during operation.
- Check that you have closed the door properly and that nothing is blocking its closing.

ERROR CODE ER17 – DOOR OPEN
This error code indicates that the appliance door is open during operation.
- Check that you have closed the door properly and that nothing is blocking its closing.
- If everything is securely closed and the error persists, check the door safety, which could misinterpret the position of the lock.
ERROR CODE ER18 – ELECTRONIC CARD COMMUNICATION
This error code indicates a communication problem between the power board and the display board.
- Check the connections on the different cards.
- Contact a technician if the error persists.
ERROR CODE ER19 – PROGRAM INTERRUPTED
This code means that the program was interrupted by the user.Β This does not require any special action, just turn off the device to restart it.
ERROR CODE ER20 – SHUTDOWN DURING OPERATION
This error code is displayed when pressing the start/stop button is detected during a drying program.Β To stop a program while it is running, look for a button on your appliance dedicated to stopping during drying.
ERROR CODE ER21 / ER22 – DRYING STOPPED
This fault code occurs even though the drying program has stopped.Β This is due to repetitive shutdowns of the compressor (heat pump).Β If possible, replace this part, or contact a technician.
