Fault codes, also called error codes or fault codes, allow your device to automatically report an internal malfunction. Below you will find the list of fault codes for your Indesit oven and their meaning: this will give you an indication to best diagnose the origin of the malfunction of your appliance.
The error code can be read directly on the front panel of your Indesit oven – cooker. Depending on the model, you can read this code on a display (for example, “Err 01”) or by observing the number of LED flashes (for example: 4 LED flashes = “Err 04”).
Refer to the user manual for your Indesit appliance to find out the exact meaning of the fault code displayed or the lights that flash. The number of flashes often corresponds to the error code number, but there are specificities linked to each model and brand.
ERROR CODE F01 AND F02 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
F01 and F02 fault codes result from a faulty temperature sensor. Measure the probe (CTN type) and change it if the value is not correct.
ERROR CODE F03 AND F04 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
Fault codes F03 and F04 mean that the temperature sensor is defective. It is necessary to check that the cooling ventilation is working correctly. Replace the electronic board of your oven if necessary.
ERROR CODE F05 – OVERHEATING
This fault code appears when overheating is detected on the electronic card. Check if the cooling ventilation is working and measure your oven’s temperature sensor. If the probe is not defective, replace the electronic card.
ERROR CODE F06 – OVERHEATING
This fault code indicates overheating in the oven cavity. Check the probe (CTN type) and its connections. If the probe is defective, replace it. Otherwise, change the display card compatible with your oven.
ERROR CODE F07 – OVERHEATING
This fault code corresponds to overheating in your oven cavity during pyrolysis. The actions to take are the same as for fault code F06.
ERROR CODE F08, F09, W03 AND W04 – DOOR LOCK
The display of one of these codes is due to a door that does not lock in pyrolysis. Make sure your oven door is closed correctly and the lock is engaged. If this does not happen, change the door security.
ERROR CODE F10 – ELECTRONICS
This fault code indicates an electronic operating problem. A change of the electronic card of your oven is necessary.
ERROR CODE W01 AND W02 – ELECTRONIC MEMORY
These fault codes correspond to an electronic memory problem. Change the display board to resolve it and repair your oven.
ERROR CODE F3E0 AND F3E3 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
This fault code indicates a short circuit in the temperature sensor. If you have any doubt, measure the probe using a multimeter: the displayed value tends towards 0 Ohm or infinity when it is defective. In rare cases, the electronic board may be the cause of the problem with your oven.
ERROR CODE F1E2, F4E0 AND FFFF – ELECTRONIC CARD
If one of these three codes is displayed, then the electronic card is defective. To repair your oven, simply replace it with a new card compatible with the reference of your device.
ERROR CODE F5E2 – HIGH TEMPERATURE
This fault code indicates an abnormally high temperature present in the heart of your oven. To repair this fault, follow the instructions for fault codes F3E0 and F3E3.
ERROR CODE F5E2 – HIGH TEMPERATURE
This fault code indicates an abnormally high temperature present in the heart of your oven. To repair this fault, follow the instructions for fault codes F3E0 and F3E3.
EOO ERROR CODE – MEMORY
This fault code means a fault in the device’s memory. Simply unplug your oven, then plug it back in and it will work again.
ERROR CODE E01 AND E02 – TEMPERATURE
These error codes are displayed when the temperature rises too high during pyrolysis or cooking. You need to change the temperature sensor in your oven.
ERROR CODE E03 AND E04 – DOOR LOCK
Refer to the explanations of fault codes F08, F09, W03 and W04.
ERROR CODE E05 AND E06 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
Refer to the explanations of fault codes F3E0 and F3E3.
ERROR CODE E07 – ELECTRONIC CARD
This error code indicates overheating of the electronic card. Replace the card with a new one after checking the ventilation.
ERROR CODE E08 AND E09 – TEMPERATURE SWITCH
These error codes mean that you must check the connections and clean the selector tracks, because a fault is present on the temperature switch.
ERROR CODE E10 AND E17 – TEMPERATURE
These error codes correspond to a temperature problem in the oven (shortly for code 10 and a little longer for error 17). Check the condition of the resistance, the temperature probe and the supply voltage of your oven.
ERROR CODE E20 – OVERHEATING
Refer to the explanations of fault code F05.
ERROR CODE E21, E30 AND E31 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
These error codes indicate a malfunction of the temperature probe coming from the electronic card. This card needs to be replaced.
ERROR CODE E22 AND E33 – TEMPERATURE PROBE
These error codes indicate a malfunction of the temperature probe coming from the electronic card. This card needs to be replaced.
ERROR CODE E32 – DISPLAY BOARD OVERHEATING
This error code corresponds to overheating of the display card located in the panel of your oven. Replace the display board after testing the ventilation of the device.
ERROR CODE E50, E70 AND E71 – ELECTRONIC CARD CONNECTION
This error code corresponds to a connection problem with the electronic card of your oven. There is no communication between the electronic cards. You must change the electronic card of your oven after having inspected the connections.
ERROR CODE E60 AND E61 – ELECTRONIC MEMORY
These error codes are problems related to electronic memory. Change only the memory part or the electronic card.
ERROR CODE E72 TO E93 – CONTROL BUTTONS
A two-digit code between 72 and 93 displayed on your oven indicates a problem with the touch control buttons. The problem may be due to traces of moisture. If the problem continues, you must change the sensitive keyboard.
ERROR CODE E99 – ELECTRONIC CARD
This error code corresponds to an anomaly in the electronic card of your oven. It must be replaced with a similar or equivalent model recommended based on the reference of your device.
