These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all appliance repair and installation services provided by Appliance Repair Shymon (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By booking or receiving service, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms.
1. Appointments
Service is available across the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, North York, Hamilton and surrounding locations. Appointments must be confirmed by email or phone. Same-day and next-day service options may be available based on technician availability. 2. Service Call Fee
A non-refundable diagnostic/service call fee applies to every request. This fee covers technician travel and initial diagnostics and is credited toward repair costs if the repair is approved and completed.
3. Estimates
Written estimates are valid for 7 days. Any deposit or payment for parts, labour, or service constitutes acceptance of the estimate and these Terms.
4. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of the job. Overdue balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. Customer is responsible for reasonable collection and legal costs where permitted.
5. Warranty
Shymon offers warranty coverage on parts and labour. Service includes warranty on parts and labour, with variations depending on part type and manufacturer standards. 6. Cancellations and No-Shows
Appointment cancellations must be communicated in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. Diagnostic credit may still apply.
7. Scope of Services
Shymon provides professional repair and installation services for major household appliances, including refrigerators, washers & dryers, dishwashers, stoves & ovens and other common appliances. 8. Liability and Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appliance Repair Shymon’s liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services provided is limited to the fees paid by the Customer for the specific service in question.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure safe and clear access to the appliance, provide accurate model/serial information, and ensure an adult (18+) is present for service. Failure to provide access or unsafe conditions may result in additional fees.
10. Parts Policy
Replacement parts used are original or equivalent quality. Shipping and handling may be charged separately. Restocking fees may apply for returns where permitted.
11. Completed Repair
A repair is considered complete once signed off by the technician. By making full payment, the Customer confirms they have reviewed and tested the appliance where possible.
12. Limitation of Liability
Company’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for services. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of use or food spoilage.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
